Today we would like to feature classy living room concepts from two designers. One is from Polish based design group Meedo and the other from Russian based designer Andrey Zyomko. Though they seem to utilize two completely different form of visualizations you will notice that they have a few things in common. Both of them lay generous emphasis on pictures, wall art and fancy lighting. Also some good ideas for short space living rooms ar thrown in between. Take a look.
In recent years, PPB has experienced significant growth and required new accommodation, relocating their Melbourne office to a recently completed premium grade, 5 Star Green Star office building in Melbourne.
PPB sought to distinguish their new office as a benchmark facility within the accounting sector, using the design to encourage greater communication, assist in staff recruitment and retention and also as a public statement towards their commitment to the highest professional standards. The design strategy was to simplify the project by using a limited number of key design features and materials to create a new workplace that embraces PPB’s core values of innovation, professionalism and teamwork. The partners of PPB understood that a new workplace can be a powerful tool to support their business objectives and encourage these values, whilst engaging their people in a social, healthy and productive environment.

Invented by Stuart Pugh the decision-matrix method, also Pugh method, Pugh Concept Selection is a quantitative technique used to rank the multi-dimensional options of an option set. It is frequently used in engineering for making design decisions but can also be used to rank investments options, vendor options, product options or any other set of multidimensional entities.
A basic decision matrix consists of establishing a set of criteria upon which the potential options can be decomposed, scored, and summed to gain a total score which can then be ranked. Importantly, the criteria are not weighted to allow a quick selection process.
The advantage of this approach to decision making is that subjective opinions about one alternative versus another can be made more objective. Another advantage of this method is that sensitivity studies can be performed. An example of this might be to see how much your opinion would have to change in order for a lower ranked alternative to out rank a competing alternative.
Morphological analysis is another form of a decision matrix employing a multi-dimensional configuration space linked by way of logical relationships.
